The Emerson Avenger

The Emerson Avenger is a "memory hole" free blog where censorship is scorned. This blog will "guard the right to know" about any injustices and abuses that corrupt Unitarian Universalism. Posters may speak and argue freely, according to conscience, about any injustices and abuses, or indeed hypocrisy, that they may know about so that the Avenger, in the form of justice and redress, may come surely and swiftly. . . In 1992 I underwent a profound revelatory experience of God which revealed that the total solar eclipse "Eye of God" is a "Sign in the Heavens" that symbolizes God's divine omniscience. You may read about what Rev. Ray Drennan of the Unitarian Church of Montreal contemptuously dismissed as my "psychotic experience" here: http://revelationisnotsealed.homestead.com - This revelatory religious experience inspired me to propose an inter-religious celebration of Creation that would take place whenever a total solar eclipse took place over our planet. You may read about what Rev. Ray Drennan and other leading members of the Unitarian Church of Montreal falsely and maliciously labeled as a "cult" here: http://creationday.homestead.com - I am now an excommunicated Unitarian whose "alternative spiritual practice" includes publicly exposing and denouncing Unitarian*Universalist injustices, abuses, and hypocrisy. The Emerson Avenger blog will serve that purpose for me and hopefully others will share their concerns here. Dee Miller's term DIM Thinking is used frequently and appropriately on this blog. Rev. Dr. William F. Schulz aka Rev. Bill Schulz Has Offended Dozens Of Unitarian Universalist Ministers

But don't take *my* word for it U*Us, take the word of the dozens of Unitarian Universalist ministers who have signed their names to this letter which is addressed to the Board of Trustees of the Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association (UUMA) in the wake of the rather foolish legal bullying that current President Emeritus of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, former UUA President, former Amnesty International USA Executive Director, and apparent former human rights champion Rev. William F. Schulz aka Rev. Bill Schultz engaged in which caused the UUMA to "redact" aka "memory hole" part of Rev. Gail Seavey's 2016 Berry Street Essay in which she said something about Rev. William Schulz that he doesn't want U*Us to know about. . .

Montreal Unitarian David Rollert And Such Despicable Crimes As Pedophilia And Rape Committed By Certain Unitarian Universalist Ministers - What's The Connection?

How about this little Tweet of mine, which was directly inspired by Montreal Unitarian U*U David Rollert, the husband of the Unitarian "Church" of Montreal's "less than honest" U*U minister Rev. Diane Olenick Rollert, ever so happily smirking and smiling while he knowingly and willfully participated in the Unitarian Universalist religious community's deep-seated culture of secrecy and denial about U*U clergy sexual misconduct aka U*U clergy sexual abuse which includes, but is by no means limited to, what the UUA's Canadian attorney describes as "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers", by aiding and abetting the Unitarian Church of Montreal's President Stanislaus Mackiewicz aka Stan Mackiewicz aka Stalinslaus "History Eraser" Mackiewicz in the erasing aka "memory holing" of my chalk slogans that protest against Unitarian Universalist clergy abuse of all kinds, and Unitarian Universalist cover-up and denial thereof?

Stikeman Elliott Barristers & Solicitors Defamation Lawyer Maitre Marc-André Coulombe Has Had To Deal With Canada's Blasphemy Law For Almost Five Years Now. . .

Just saying. . .

In this comment that I posted in response to

Canada’s strangest laws: From witchcraft to blasphemy to sleigh bells

We should all be sure not to commit blasphemous libel, since it’s against the law. But what is blasphemous libel? The Criminal Code doesn’t say.

Is it libel, with characteristics of blasphemy? Is it blasphemy, with characteristics of libel?

“I can’t tell you what it is,” (Ottawa lawyer Michael Spratt) says. “No lawyer alive today has had to deal with it.”

Wrong. . .

The Unitarian Universalist Association's Canadian attorney, Stikeman Elliott Barristers & Solicitors litigation lawyer Maitre Marc-André Coulombe, has had to deal with the "fallout" from falsely accusing Yours Truly of the archaic criminal act of "blasphemous libel" in UUA clergy sex abuse cover-up legal bullying that attempted to conceal "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers" from the public. Maitre Coulombe falsely accused me of committing "blasphemous libel" in an arrogant and aggressive cease and desist demand letter dated May 29, 2012, which arrived in my email inbox on Friday June 1st, 2012, and which I was letter served the "hard copy" of by a Montreal bailiff. The second page of that letter, in which the accusation of blasphemous libel was made, may be seen in this The Emerson Avenger blog post. What a unique honour and privilege it is to stand accused of "blasphemous libel" in 21st century Canada by Atheist Unitarians. . . LOL!

Montreal Unitarian Shoshanna Green And Such Despicable Crimes As Pedophilia And Rape Committed By Certain Unitarian Universalist Ministers - What's The Connection?

How about these videos of the Unitarian "Church" of Montreal's "Lay Chaplain" Shoshanna Green supervising the erasing of my chalk protest slogans which expose and denounce Unitarian Universalist clergy abuse, and Unitarian Universalist cover-up and denial thereof?

By directly involving herself in the erasure of my chalk slogans, which tell the readily verifiable Truth about Unitarian Universalist clergy abuse, and Unitarian Universalist cover-up and denial thereof, Montreal Unitarian Shoshanna Green is not only complicit in these U*U injustices, but a knowing and willful participant in Unitarian Universalist cover-up and denial of U*U clergy abuse which includes, but is not limited to, what the UUA's Canadian attorney,'Stikeman Elliott Barristers & Solicitors litigation lawyer Maitre Marc-André Coulombe, describes as "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers."

According to her online bio, Shoshanna Green started attending the the Unitarian "Church" of Montreal in 2006, "in hopes of finding a meaningful social community". Besides supervising the erasure aka "memory holing" of my chalk slogans, Shoshanna Green has also taken on other roles within the congregation, including serving as moderator of the Council, and volunteering her editing skills for the newsletter. She even claims that her "main professional client" as a copy editor "is now the Unitarian Universalist Association!" I can't help but wonder if that means that the UUA is paying actually Shoshanna Green professional rates for her involvement in the clergy abuse concealing "copy editing" of my chalk protest slogans?

Persons of inherent worth and dignity who seek to have their weddings and other ceremonies officiated by a U*U "Lay Chaplain" who happily aids and abets Unitarian Universalist cover-up and denial of "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers", to say nothing of various other forms of U*U clergy abuse. . . need look no further than Montreal Unitarian Shoshanna Green. . .

UUA Moderator Jim Key Resigns Citing ‘Significant Mental Health Concerns’

In this plagU*URized parody version of the UU World magazine's article about the resignation of UUA Moderator Jim Key, that I publicly called for less than a month ago. . . headlined:

Citing ‘significant mental health concerns,’

UUA Moderator Jim Key resigns

Citing “significant mental health concerns,” Jim Key, the moderator and chief governance officer of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), resigned his position on Saturday, May 13 (PDF).
Key, a cancer survivor, has served as moderator for nearly four years. In a brief letter to the UUA Board of Trustees, he wrote,

“Due to significant mental health concerns, I feel that it is best—for both myself and the Association—that I leave my position effective May 13, 2017. I deeply regret any inconvenience my #BatShitCrazy "Risk Management" of UUA clergy sex abuse cover-up and denial may cause.”

“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve our Association in its clegy sex abuse cover-up and denial efforts, and I sincerely wish the very best for my complicit colleagues on the Board and Staff, and to the Association moving forward in its culture of secrecy and denial,” he added. He gave no further details about his involvement in the UUA's culture of secrecy and denial.

Key was elected as moderator at General Assembly 2013 in Louisville, Kentucky, for a six-year term to end in 2019. The moderator, a volunteer position, chairs the UUA’s Board of Trustees, which meets monthly including four times a year in person. The moderator also presides over General Assembly, the annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists including voting delegates. Key succeeded Gini Courter, who was the UUA’s longest-serving moderator of UUA's culture of secrecy and denial, with ten years of clergy abuse cover-up and denial service. Key assumed leadership of the board at the same time that it shrank in size from 25 to 13 "less than lucky" members after a vote by delegates at GA 2011.

Over the past two months, Key has led the UUA through a difficult period in the wake of controversy over the UUA's #BatShitCrazy misuse of Canada's blasphemy law in UUA legal bullying intended to conceal "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers, and other UUA clergy sex abuse cover-up and denial, which clergy abuse critics say systematically favor U*U clergy especially prominent U*U ministers. After UUA President Peter Morales resigned April 1 aka April Fool's Day in response to the controversy arising out of his UUA administration's immoral, UNethical, borderline criminal, and yes. . . #BatShitCrazy false blasphemous libel accusation against The Emerson Avenger, Jim Key and the UUA board took the unprecedented step of creating a shared UUA presidency, with three people serving as interim co-presidents including a prominent U*U minister who has been credibly accused of clergy sexual misconduct, and whose UUA administration FAILed to provide justice to Amanda Tweed aka "Emily", until a new UUA president is elected on June 24 by General Assembly. Two of the interim co-presidents, the Rev. Sofia Betancourt and the Rev. William G. Sinkford, are UU ministers, but for the first time in U*U history, a layperson, Leon Spencer, is also serving as president. So that leaves U*Us to guess as to awhether or not it was Rev. Sofia Betancourt or the Rev. William G. Sinkford who has A) been credibly accused of clergy sexual misconduct, and B) whose UUA administration FAILed to provide justice to Amanda Tweed aka "Emily", to say nothing of other people who filed clergy misconduct complaints on his watch as UUA President.

*Certified* Risk Management Consultant James "See No Evil" Key was among those White Supremacist U*Us who strongly supported the White Supremacy Teach-In created by three UU religious educators in response to The U*U Movement's White Supremacy Crisis, in which 680 U*U congregations have or are participating. During the UUA board’s meeting April 21-22 in Boston, Key said he was “looking for white people (to say nothing of ever so colorful "people of color" like Rev. Dr. Peter Morales and Rev. Bill Sinkford. . .) to live with the discomfort of being TOTALLY complicit in The U*U Movement's immoral, UNethical, borderline criminal and yes. . . #BatShitCrazy misuse of Canada's blasphemy law in UUA legal bullying intended to conceal such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape committed by certain Unitarian Universalist ministers” and of the phrase “Bat Shit Crazy” as applied to Unitarian Universalists and Big Fat U*U Institutions.

Jim Key also led the UUA Board of Trustees in its historic decision to refuse to hold UUA President Peter Morales accountable for his #BatShitCrazy misuse of Canada's blasphemy law to support pedophile and rapist U*Us, and to decrease the knowledge and visibility of pedophile and rapist U*Us clergy within the faith. Key was proud of the UUA Board’s #BatShitCrazy commitment to clergy abuse cover-up and denial, stating, “To me, doing nothing—or doing something more timid than misusing blasphemy law in UUA legal bullying intended to hide such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape committed by certain Unitarian Universalist ministers—was a greater risk to The U*U Movement and the values we say we have and the way we live in the world. It would put our overall mission at risk not to conceal The U*U Movement’s most depressing clergy sex abuse issues now.”

As UUA Moderator, Jim "See No Evil" Key has focused on a number of other issues including brazenly lying about UU clergy sexual misconduct in general, and #ChildSexAbuse committed by pedophile and*or rapist UUA clergy (to say nothing of UUA Religious Educators aka Sunday School teachers etc.) in particular. . . in his mendacious "official apology" to survivors of U*U clergy sexual misconduct, and working to improve the process for discouraging and rejecting complaints of misconduct, and appointing a task force on covenanting to reimagine the relationship among UU congregations in the UUA's culture of secrecy and denial as one based on covenant.

Jim "See No Evil" Key was raised in Virginia and North Carolina in the Methodist church. He attended Virginia Tech and graduated from Syracuse University. A *certified* expert in #RiskManagement and organizational leadership, he spent thirty-five years in a management position with IBM, overseeing diverse staff and living in Tokyo for a time. In 1997, Key founded his own consulting business, Shenandoah Group, which consults on governance, risk, management, (sic) and compliance for a group of international clients. For nearly twenty years, he has also served as a director of the Coastal Banking Company.

*Certified* Risk Management consultant James C. Key became a Unitarian Universalist in 1999. In Beaufort, South Carolina, he helped found the UU Fellowship of Beaufort, including serving as congregational president for five years. In 2011, the congregation was named a UUA “Breakthrough Congregation” in recognition of its significant and sustained hypocrisy; Jim Key proudly noted the designation whenever he spoke of his home congregation. Key is also a member of the Church of the Larger Fellowship of U*U Clergy Abuse Deniers. After many years in Beaufort, Key and his wife Liz Key recently moved to Darien, Georgia, but they remain members of the Beaufort fellowship.
Key also served as president of the Southeast District of the Unitarian Universalist Association, which changed its name from the Thomas Jefferson District during his tenure. He also served as chair of the UUA’s Audit Committee and member of the board task force that proposed a smaller UUA Board of Trustees and of the board’s Clergy Abuse Cover-Up and Denial Working Group.

Rev. Sofía Betancourt, Rev. William G. Sinkford And Dr. Leon Spencer And UUA Clergy Abuse Cover-Up And Denial - What's The Connection?

The Unitarian Universalist Association's (UUA) Interim Co-Presidents, the Revs. Sofía Betancourt and William Sinkford and Dr. Leon Spencer, did not share the following plagU*Urized parody Toward The Beloved Community message Tuesday morning:

Over the past three weeks we have not spoken frequently about the hope-filled possibilities inherent in *this moment* for our Unitarian Universalist movement aka The U*U Movement aka The Tiny Declining Fringe Religion. That UUA leaning into false hope is based in large part on totally disregarding the powerful impact of Truth and Reconciliation commissions following times of extreme conflict around the U*U World. We know the importance of discouraging and suppressing Truth Telling about U*U clergy abuse matters, just as we understand that it is the long-term work of delaying and denying justice for U*U clergy misconduct victims aka U*U clergy abuse victims that leads to hU*Umiliation of The U*U Movement. We also remind ourselves regularly that high emotions, the kind born of strong commitments to cover-up and deny U*U clergy abuse in general, and "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" most certainly committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers" in particular, often serve to shape our understandings of the Truth. Moments like these require intentional perversion of justice, and careless UUA legal bullying.

The way before us U*Us will not be achieved in ten short weeks of interim leadership at the upper levels of the UUA staff which includes a former UUA President who has not only been credibly accused of clergy sexual misconduct himself, but who has shamelessly delayed and denied justice for Amanda Tweed aka "Emily", and a number of other clergy misconduct complainants. Instead, it will be broad-based and faithless ongoing work that carries the potential for sustainable clergy abuse cover-up and denial by the UUA and individual Unitarian Universalist congregations such as Wildflower Unitarian Universalist Church in Austin Texas, and the Unitarian "Church" of Montreal, to name but two out of dozens (if not hundreds. . .) of U*U "churches" that knowingly and willfully participate in cover-up and*or denial of U*U clergy misconduct.

It is important to remember that the non-existent Commission on Institutional Change Of The UUA's Culture Of Secrecy And Denial not called for by our UUA Board of Trustees will not be directing our process going forward. We want to assure U*Us that the people most directly involved in, and impacted by, the UNethical, immoral, borderline criminal and yes. . . #BatShitCrazy UUA decision which prompted this moment of opportunity in Unitarian Universalism will not have a chance to tell their stories to the non-existent Commission on Institutional Change Of The UUA's Culture Of Secrecy And Denial not called for by our UUA Board of Trustees. That is critical clergy abuse cover-up and denial work, and the primary focus of the non-existent Commission will remain DIM Thinking denial, ignorance, and minimization of the impact of the UUA's #BatShitCrazy misuse of Canada's blasphemy law on Unitarian Universalism as a whole.

The plans for and scope of work of that non-existent Commission are not in early development. Later this week we are not bringing together a small group of leaders connected to our UU constituency groups to partner with us to envision the construction of the Commission. These non-existent leaders will not all identify as victims of U*U clergy abuse, because we believe it is critical for the Commission’s non-existent foundation to NOT be rooted in the vision of Unitarian Universalists, or indeed non-U*U people of color. . . who have been molested and*or raped and*or otherwise abused by abusive UUA clergy. With NO input from that non-existent group to inform us, our eventual task is to appoint a small and nimble group of "commissioners " who will not work collaboratively with an outside organization to bring badly needed analysis, visioning, and theological depth to the UUA's clergy abuse cover-up and denial efforts. That non-existent Commission may not continue for 18 months or more. In the meantime, work on new clergy misconduct cover-up and denial techniques for the UUA continues to move forward. You cannot expect a more specific report from us on those UUA policies in the next few weeks.

We want to acknowledge how emotional these times are for U*Us as a community of clergy abuse concealers and deniers, knowing that there are those among us whose personal and professional lives are immediately and directly affected by The Emerson Avenger's Truth Telling blog posts and Tweets, and who are terrified of being discussed and debated in the public square. These are times for U*Us to refuse to engage and communicate with The Emerson Avenger out of our most fearful selves, mindful of our fourth principle that The Emerson Avenger so stubbornly strives to affirm and promote, striving to "memory hole" U*U history when deeply held opinions vary. We invite U*Us to join us in erasing and "memory holing" these FAILed U*U moments of opportunity for finding a new way forward.

British Comedian Ricky Gervais Offensively* Kicks Former Human Rights Champion Rev. Dr. William F. Schulz, Former UUA President Rev. Dr. Peter Morales, Montreal Unitarian IgnoramU*Us David Horan And Other Free Speech SU*Uppressing U*U Memory Holers In Their Big Fat U*U Balls**!

In this comparatively recent quotation aka quote of British Comedian Ricky Gervais, that I just came across on his Twitter account:

"I see offence as the collateral damage of free speech. I hate the thought of a person's ideas being modified, or even hushed, because someone somewhere might not like to hear them. Outside actually breaking the law, or causing someone physical harm, hurting someone's feelings is almost impossible to objectively quantify."

Wildflower Unitarian Universalist Church Of Austin Texas Web Site's Search Function And Rev. Eliza Galaher - What's The Connection?

It seems that in the wake of my blog post titled:

Rev. Eliza Galaher And Wildflower Unitarian Universalist Church Of Austin Texas Web Site's Search Function - What's The Connection?

That Wildflower Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin, Texas aka The Lone Star State, has updated it's web site in such a way that the sanitized "official history" of Wildflower Unitarian Universalist Church is now properly hosted on it, rather than elsewhere on the interwebs. . . and that *someone* working on behalf of WU*UC (Terry Matula perhaps?) has made the following text BOLD in order to emphasize it, where it had not previously been emphasized in BOLD.

In December 2012, the UUA notifies Rev. Rohde and the Wildflower Board that Rev. Eliza Galaher has resigned her status as a minister because of a UUA investigation of her for conduct unbecoming a minister. Galaher admits that she sexualized her relationship with a married member of Wildflower.

It seems however, that in their aka his*her haste to rectify the TOTAL absence of ANY information about Rev. Eliza C. Galaher and her clergy sexual misconduct which, at minimum. . . involved Rev. Eliza Galaher sexualizing her relationship with one single* married member of Wildflower U*U Church, the person(s) of inherent worth and dignity responsible for this editing aka CHANGE to WU*UC's official website inadvertently conFU*Used 2012 U*U history with*into 2011 U*U history.

I consider this very recent U*Updating of WU*UC's website to be a step in the right direction, which improves upon the disturbing step in the WRONG direction that WU*UC took not so long ago. . . which was to "take down" aka delete aka "memory hole" the quite extensive information about how
Eliza Galaher's clergy sexual misconduct had impacted upon Wildflower Unitarian Universalist Church that had previously been available to the public on WU*UC's website. I will however be asking-advising WU*UC's leadership to reinstate ALL of the information that has been "memory holed", so that persons of inherent worth and dignity may practice U*Uism's 4th Principle by engaging in a free and responsible search for the Truth and meaning of not only Rev. Eliza Galaher's clergy sexual misconduct, but how it's aftermath was handled by the Board and congregation of WU*UC, the UUA, and "UU Safety Net" etc. In my view WU*UC took a quite progressive, and even quite courageous, step forward by making extensive information about how it had responded to complaints arising out of Rev. Eliza Galaher's clergy sexual misconduct available on its website, so I was quite disappointed, and even disillU*Usioned. . . to discover that that Unitarian Universalist history had been relegated to The U*U Movement's burgeoning U*U clergy misconduct "Memory Hole" not so long ago. . .

The WU*UC Board was supposed to hold a Board meeting on Wednesday May 10th, 2017, in which a decision was to be made about whether or not to report Rev. Eliza Galaher's clergy sexual misconduct to the Austin Police Department. I dare say that it seems rather "late in the game" for WU*UC leadership to be debating whether or not to report Rev. Galaher's sexual misconduct to what former UUA President Rev. Dr. John A. Buehrens likes to refer to as "the secular authorities". Surely such a decision should have been made back in the fall of 2012, or early 2013 at the very latest. No U*Us? No doubt a decision *was* made in to not report Rev. Galaher's sexual misconduct to the police in 2012, but some persons of inherent worth and dignity in positions of leadership at WU*UC are now having second thoughts about it, as they should in my opinion. . . I had been planning to make inquiries with the appropriate "secular authorities" myself, but I will wait and see what decision WU*UC leadership made, and try find out from them whether or not they reported Rev. Galaher's clergy sexual misconduct to the police, before communicating with the Austin Police Department, to say nothing of other "secular authorities" that may need to be involved such as the Texas Rangers, the FBI, and the Department of Homeland Security etc. etc.

Here's what the official history of Wildflower U*U Church looked like a week ago on May 5th, 2017, however this official church history page was not actually hosted on
Wildflower U*U Church's official website. It was hosted on a totally separate website apparently belonging to Terry Matula that appears to have been taken down aka "memory holed" in the wake of my initial blog post about these Unitarian Universalist clergy abuse matters**:

Here's what the official history of Wildflower U*U Church looks like today, i.e. May 12th, 2017:

With some correction of the dating errors this web page will be a significant improvement over not having that or ANY other information about "retired" UUA minister Rev. Eliza Galaher available on WU*UC's official website at all, but there are still some serious questions regarding just how many persons of inherent worth and dignity Rev. Eliza Galaher had what former UUA President William Jefferson Clinton aka Bill Clinton calls "sexual relations" with. I for one am not convinced that it was just "one married member of Wildflower". I have reasonable grounds to believe that there may well have been at least one other victim-survivor of Rev. Eliza's sexual misconduct, and Yours Truly will be making inquiries about that possibility, if not probability. . . in a free and responsible search for Truth and meaning very soon.

That's all for now. . .

The Stephen Fry Blasphemy Investigation And The Unitarian Universalist Association's Misuse Of Canada's Blasphemy Law In UUA Clergy Sex Abuse Cover-Up Legal Bullying - What's The Connection?

How about this comment that I just submitted in response to a RightsInfo blog post by Jem Collins about the Irish police (Garda Síochána) dropping its investigation into whether or not British comedian Stephen Fry made blasphemous remarks on 'The Meaning of Life' TV show in 2015 titled:

Stephen Fry and the Blasphemy Investigation – Could it Happen Here?

I am thoroughly enjoying the unique honour and privilege of being falsely accused of the archaic criminal act of "blasphemous libel" by Atheist Unitarian Universalists aka Atheist U*Us in the 21st century!

Yes, you read that correctly. . .

Just under 5 years ago, on Friday June 1st of 2012, I received an email from the Unitarian Universalist Association's Canadian attorney, Stikeman Elliott Barristers & Solicitors litigation and defamation lawyer Maitre Marc-André Coulombe in which, amongst other highly questionable accusations, he falsely accused me of the crime of "blasphemous libel", which is still in the Canadian Criminal Code, on the unfounded basis that I am allegedly guilty of making "unfounded and vicious allegations to the effect that ministers of the Association engage in such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape." The top-level UUA leaders who are most responsible for the immoral, UNethical, borderline criminal, and I dare say #BatShitCrazy attempted misuse of Canada's blasphemy law in clergy sex abuse cover-up legal bullying are both Atheist U*Us, namely recently resigned UUA President Rev. Dr. Peter Morales and less recently "retired" UUA Executive *Vice* President Kathleen "Kay" Montgomery.

My initial public response to the UUA's #BatShitCrazy "blasphemous libel" accusation against Yours Truly may be read here:

http://emersonavenger.blogspot.ca/2012/06/uua-unitarian-universalist-association.html

A later response, which may be seen as my "piece de resistance", may be read here:

http://emersonavenger.blogspot.ca/2015/10/unitarian-universalists-pedophilia-rape.html

Within days of being falsely accused of "blasphemous libel" I made it abundantly clear the the UUA's Canadian attorney and top-level UUA leadership that my blog posts about Unitarian Universalists who had been charged, tried, and convicted of committing "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" were by no means "unfounded and vicious" as Maitre Marc-André Coulombe falsely alleged in his cease and desist demand letter. I demanded that the UUA must formally withdraw its false "blasphemous libel" accusation, as well as other highly misleading or outright false accusation that Maitre Coulombe made in his arrogant and aggressive demand letter(s), properly and publicly apologize for these false accusations, and publicly divulge exactly how many UUA ministers have actually been charged, tried, and convicted of committing "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape", to say nothing of those UUA ministers who have been credibly accused of committing "such despicable crimes" but have not ever been charged with them.

Needless to say, the UUA has obstinately refused to meet ANY of these reasonable demands so. . . as far as I am concerned, the UUA, and by extension the whole Unitarian Universalist "religion". . . is stubbornly, and stunningly foolishly, standing by its false blasphemous libel accusation. That's just fine by me. I quite enjoy basking in the untold glory of being falsely accused of blasphemy by Atheist U*Us in the 21st century! LOL!

Did The Rev. Dr. William Schulz aka Rev. Bill Schulz UUA Administration Attempt To Protect U*U Rapist Rev. Mack Wallace Mitchell From Criminal Charges

By trying to persuade the teenage Tibetan refugees who Rev. Mack Wallace Mitchell, the (former) minister of First Parish Church Unitarian of Northboro and the Unitarian Universalist Congregational Society of Westborough, Massachusetts, was convicted of raping to sign confidentiality agreements that would have silenced them, and thus would have prevented them from sharing their allegations about Rev. Mack Mitchell with the police; or anyone else for that matter? I think this is a reasonable question to ask, based upon a free and responsible search for the Truth and *meaning* of the information that is provided in the following information that was provided in a follow-up report on the Rev. Mack Mitchell case in a news report by Mary Frain headlined 'Couple quit church, cite hostility' that was published in the Telegram & Gazette of Worcester, Massachusetts on April 22nd, 1992:

(Karen) Braucher was chairman of the (Westborough) society's Board of Trustees when Mitchell, a 56-year-old Northboro resident, was arrested by Northboro police last fall. He has since been indicted on 20 counts of rape, five counts of indecent assault and battery and one count of assault and battery and is awaiting trial. Braucher resigned from her post in January.

Braucher said she and her husband were among those who asked police to investigate Mitchell's relationship with two Tibetan girls living in his home.

Church officials had sought advice and intervention by leaders of the Unitarian Universalist Association after Mary Trainor, Mitchell's colleague in the ministry, came to them in September with concerns about the propriety of Mitchell's relationship with the girls.

INVESTIGATION POSTPONED

Arrangements for a confidential investigation by the association were made and then postponed when another parishioner came forward, after speaking with the Tibetans, to report alleged criminal actions on Mitchell's part, Braucher said. The parishioners and Trainor then went to police, she said.

Braucher said the Unitarians have a long history of social action, which made the reactions of some members of the Unitarian churches in Westboro and Northboro to the news of Mitchell's arrest surprising and distressing.

The Westboro church and the First Parish Church Unitarian of Northboro had a lengthy agreement to share the cost of the minister's services.

`PRIDE THEMSELVES'

"Unitarian Universalists pride themselves on celebrating those who fight for the oppressed," Braucher said.

But Braucher said Trainor was treated as a whistle-blower for acting on her concerns about Mitchell and she became a lightning rod for the shock and anger felt by church members.

Braucher said the hostile treatment also was extended to her since she and her husband were two of four Westboro church members who went to police.

Church members who reacted with hostility missed the point, she said. "If you think there may have been a crime ... you have a moral obligation to report it. That doesn't mean you think the person is guilty," she said.

MINIMIZED ARREST

Although there were meetings to brief members on developments, there was little general discussion of the situation, she said. She believes church members denied and minimized the news of Mitchell's arrest as a way of coping with the crisis. That's unlikely to be an effective strategy in the long run, she said.

"I thought we were different and we're not," she said. Reports of ministerial sexual misconduct has been surfacing in all denominations, she said. There are lessons to be learned from the crisis but it will require open discussion.

end quote

Clearly this version of events differs considerably from the sanitized "official story" that Unitarian Universalists like to tell about Rev. Mack Mitchell egregious "clergy sexual misconduct" against at least two teenage Tibetan refugees who he had lured away from the families in India with promises of "a better life in America." Here's the sanitized version of the Rev. Mack Mitchell case that the UU World magazine spoon fed to U*Us in UU World contributing editor Kimberly French's article in the Winter 2014 edition of UU World magazine headlined 'Reforms take aim at clergy misconduct':

"In the early ’90s, three instances of UU clergy misconduct brought national media attention. In the most shocking case, the Rev. Mack Mitchell was arrested and convicted in 1992 for raping a teenage girl he had helped to emigrate from Tibet. Mitchell lost his job and ministerial fellowship, after members of the Massachusetts congregation he served raised an alarm. He was imprisoned for three years."

end quote

The turn of a phrase "helped to emigrate from Tibet" sure sounds a LOT better than "brought to the United States from refugee camps under the guise of a new life in America" aka lured away from the families in India with promises of "a better life in America" doesn't it? And yes, "Mitchell lost his job and ministerial fellowship, after members of the Massachusetts congregation he served raised an alarm." But this is what current President Emeritus of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, former Executive Director of Amnesty International USA, former UUA President, and apparemtly former "Human Rights Champion" Rev. Dr. William F. Schulz aka Rev. Bill Schulz might say "inaccurately" describes what *really* happened. As they say, "A half Truth is a WHOLE lie. . ."

There is ZERO mention whatsoever of ANY involvement by the Unitarian Universalist Association in the Rev. Mack Mitchell case in Kimberly French's "less than honest" #FakeNews article. Besides singing in the choir at the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Middleborough, Massachusetts, UU World contributing editor Kimberly French has also written for SalonTikkunUtne Reader, and other publications. One would think that Kimberly French is every bit as capable of engaging in a free and *responsible* search for the Truth and meaning of "the Rev. Mack Mitchell story" by freely and *responsibly* researching the "back story" in contemporaneous newspaper articles about it in online databases as Yours Truly can. No U*Us?

And U*Us will never guess who was President of the UUA back when "Church officials had sought advice and intervention by leaders of the Unitarian Universalist Association after Mary Trainor, Mitchell's colleague in the ministry, came to them in September (of 1991. . .) with concerns about the propriety of Mitchell's relationship with the girls", and "Arrangements for a confidential investigation by the association were made and then postponed when another parishioner came forward, after speaking with the Tibetans, to report alleged criminal actions on Mitchell's part."? Yes, you guessed it, Rev. Dr. William F. Schulz aka Rev. Bill Schulz.

Can U*Us guess who was Executive *Vice* President in 1992?

Yes, you guessed it. . . Kathleen "Kay" Montgomery.

So. . . These two prominent U*Us, and not doubt various other UUA leaders of the time, were in the processing of making "Arrangements for a confidential investigation by the association" when these "arrangements" were "postponed" indefinitely, indeed effectively sabotaged. . . thanks to one parishioner reporting alleged criminal actions on Rev. Mack Mitchell's part after speaking with his "alleged" victims. So, while it is indeed True that a total of four parishioners of the Unitarian Universalist Congregational Society of Westborough, Massachusetts, did in fact "do the right thing" by responsibly reporting the "alleged criminal actions on Rev. Mack Mitchell's part" to the police, the thanks they got was to be subjected to hostile (mis)treatment by their fellow parishioners. This is pretty much "par for the course" for those people who dare to "blow the whistle" on abusive UUA ministers who are guilty of clergy sexual misconduct, and*or non-sexual clergy misconduct.

But where were Rev. Dr. William F. Schulz and Kathleen "Kay" Montgomery in all this? Clearly they were numbered among those leaders of the Unitarian Universalist Association who had been attempting to make arrangements for a confidential investigation by the association, assuming they weren't the prime "movers and shakers" behind this UUA attempt to silence Rev. Mack Wallace Mitchell's victims by having them sign confidentiality agreements, which Kay Montgomery at least quite probably was. . . After all Kay Montgomery's official job description stated clearly that one of her responsibilities as Executive *Vice* President of the UUA was to coordinate the work of the UUA's legal counsel. In light of the proclivity of "retired" UUA Executive *Vice* President Kathleen "Kay" Montgomery, and former UUA President Rev. Dr. William F. Schulz, to engage in rather questionable legal bullying that quite evidently seeks to silence clergy misconduct "whistle-blowers" and clergy abuse critics, to say nothing of clergy abuse victims. . . as evidenced by the false blasphemous libel accusation that the Rev. Dr. Peter Morales UUA brought against Yours Truly in June of 2012, and former "Human Rights Champion" Rev. Bill Schulz's very recent legal bullying of Rev. Gail Seavey and the Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association which "successfully" bullied the UUMA into "redacting" the official transcript of Rev. Seavey's ironically titled "If Our Secrets Define Us” Berry Street Essay, and editing the video of said Berry Street Essay aka Berry Street *Lecture*, I think that I can at least suggest the possibility that UUA President Rev. Bill Schulz, and his UUA administration's Executive *Vice* President Kathleen Montgomery, were trying to silence Rev. Mack Mitchell's teenage Tibetan refugee rape victims by attempting to "persuade" them to sign confidentiality agreements, before their efforts to make these "arrangements" were made fU*Utile aka U*Useless by four U*U parishioners doing the right thing as opposed to doing the WRONG thing. . .

Can I interest any U*Us in engaging in a free and responsible search for the Truth and meaning of these two former leaders of the Unitarian Universalist Association attempting to make arrangements for a confidential investigation by the association?Just asking. . .

Rev. Bill Schulz aka Rev. Dr. William F. Schulz And Such Despicable Crimes As Pedophilia And*Or Rape Most Certainly Committed By Certain Unitarian Universalist Ministers - What's The Connection?

How about this little Tweet of mine?

Just for starters. . .

Rev. Dr. William F. Schulz aka Rev. Bill Schulz Sucks At Honoring And Upholding The Fourth Principle Of Unitarian Universalism. . .

Which calls upon Unitarian Universalists to affirm and promote a free and responsible search for Truth and meaning.

How so U*Us ask?

Well, just for starters. . . it recently came to my attention that Rev. Dr. William F. Schulz aka Rev. Bill Schulz, who served as president of the Unitarian Universalist Association from 1985 to 1993, and was the Executive Director of Amnesty International USA, the U.S. division of Amnesty International, from March 1994 to 2006, and who was also the President and CEO of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee from 2010 to 2016 has engaged in legal bullying that, under the threat of a lawsuit against her, and possibly the added threat of a lawsuit against the UUMA as well. . . "persuaded" UU Safety Net's Rev. Dr. Gail Seavey and the Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association aka UUMA to "redact" the Berry Street Essay aka Berry Street *Lecture* entitled "If Our Secrets Define Us” that Rev. Dr. Gail Seavey delivered during the 2016 General Assembly of the Unitarian Universalist Association.

The irony. The irony. . .

If Unitarian Universalists, or anyone else for that matter. . . want to know exactly what allegedly "less than accurate" words of Rev. Dr. Gail Seavey were "redacted" from her 2016 Berry Street Essay, I can only suggest that they enter into a free and responsible search for Truth and meaning for what lies* behind Rev. Dr. William F. "Bill" Schulz's "less than principled" legal bullying of Rev. Dr. Gail Seavey and the UUMA. . .

* It depends upon what the meaning of the word "lies" is. . .

The BatMobile And The UUA's Bat Shit Crazy Misuse Of Canada's Blasphemy Law In Clergy Sex Abuse Cover-Up Legal Bullying - What's The Connection?

How about this comment that I just posted to Pagan U*U Joel Monka's Facebook page?

This probably isn't what the UUA's Canadian attorney, Stikeman Elliott Barristers & Solicitors litigation lawyer Maitre Marc-André Coulombe meant, but it IS the unwritten legal implication of the Rev. Dr. Peter "Beyond Belief" Morales led UUA's immoral, UNethical, borderline criminal, and indeed #BatShitCrazy "blasphemous libel" accusation against me. . .

Robin, as I have written before, your concerns need to be addressed in your congregational context. It is not my role, as UUA President, to insert myself in congregational decision making.

Dear President Sinkford,
As you know from my previous email communication with you I had intended to write you a follow up email or two soon afterwards. A variety of factors, including your failure, or even your refusal, to acknowl! edge receipt of that email with a return email, caused me to hold off writing to you again in December 2005 or earlier this month.
I need to speak with you to sound you out about a few important matters, including one that goes well beyond the state of conflict that presently exists between me and Unitarian Universalist religious community due to its well documented failure, and even refusal, to practice genuine justice, equity and compassion in its human relations with me and indeed other human beings.
A personal meeting would be even better if at all possible. I want to propose some things to you in terms of resolving the conflict and also contributing very significantly to the Unitarian Universalist religious community but I feel that it is very important to be able to speak with you personally before committing anything to writing. I believe that speaking with you personally is in the best interest! of everyone concerned and that includes not only you, the UUA, its Ministerial Fellowship Committee and the Unitarian Church of Montreal, but also the greater Unitarian Universalist religious community and many human beings who are outside of the UU religious community.
Please call me at (514) 996-3937 as soon as is *humanly* possible or provide me with some phone numbers where I may call you and times when it  would be most convenient to do so.
I believe that it is in the best interests of the Unitarian Universalist religious community that you and other Unitarian Universalists return again towards me with a reasonable level of respect if not some genuine love and that you and other UUs enter into dialogue with me as soon as possible in order to promote genuine justice and thus genuine peace within the UU World but also in the rest of the world.

Sincerely,
Robin Edgar

An Important Update About My "Obviously Deep Concerns"
To: wsinkford@uua.org

Fr! om: Robin Edgar
Tuesday December 6, 2005
Dear President Sinkford,
The following letter (copied below) was distributed to people entering and leaving the Unitarian Church of Montreal on Sunday December 4th, 2005. It will continue to be distributed for several more Sundays during my "alternative spiritual practice" of protesting against Unitarian Universalist injustices, abuses and hypocrisy in front of the Unitarian Church of Montreal as I have been doing since the spring of 1998. The "annotated" version that you see copied below has been posted to various pertinent internet forums, including the UU Deb! ate section of Beliefnet and it will be posted to others in the coming days and weeks. Although it is not directly addressed to you personally I expect you to clearly and unequivocally demonstrate and express your personal concern about the "obviously deep concerns" that I have expressed in this communication. These concerns are pretty much the same concerns that I brought to your attention soon after your election as President of the Unitarian Universalist Association. One additional concern that is not addressed in the letter is the culture of censorship that currently pervades and degrades the UU World and I expect you to address that issue as well in the near future.
Quite evidently and quite regrettably the UUA, its Ministerial Feelowship Committee and the Unitarian Church of Montreal failed or refused to live up to the second principle of UUism which calls for justice, equity, and compassion in human relations. It goes wi! thout saying that this failure, or indeed refusal, of the Unitarian Church of Montreal and the greater Unitarian Universalist religious community to provie genuine justice in this matter clearly disregarded, and indeed violated, the first principle of UUIism which affirms the inherent worth and dignity of every person, the third principle of UUism which calls for acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in UU congregations, and the sixth principle of UUism which calls upon UUs to affirm and promote the goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all. I would like to believe that "all" includes one Robin Edgar and I expect you to speak appropriate words and take responsible concrete actions to ensure that that goal is soon realized for me and indeed others, at least within the UU World.
You will be receiving one or two formal requests for your personal intervention in! this long drawn out conflict soon however I want you to be aware of this recent more generally distributed communication before I send you any further letters.
I will ask you to acknowledge receipt of this communication in an email. I do not expect or require a detailed response. It is probably best if you wait until you receive my forthcoming communications before responding in any detail. If you should wish to speak to me personally you may call me at (514) 996-3937
Sincerely,
Robin Edgar
Here is the "annotated" internet version of my letter of December 4, 2005 -
From Robin Edgar

Sunday December 4, 2005

To whom it may concern,

Today marks the 5th anniversary of my false arrest in December 2000 on trumped up criminal charges brought against me by Montreal Unitarians. After a few of criminal court dates I was acquitted of these unwarranted criminal charges that were intended to completely censor and suppress my legitimate public protest. I am protesting against the failure and refusal of the Unitarian Universalist religious community to responsibly redress my own and other UUs' legitimate grievances about abusive clergy misconduct. I am also protesting against the antireligious prejudice and intolerance that deplorably pervades and degrades UUism. The abusive clergy misconduct that I was subjected to arose directly from the antire! ligious intolerance, indeed the outright bigotry and hostility, of a self-professed "Humanist" Unitarian Universalist minister. I have seen too much evidence of similar antireligious prejudice and hostility towards God believing people within contemporary UUism. Such antireligious prejudice and intolerance, even hostility and bigotry, betrays UUism's monotheistic heritage and makes some UU congregations far from "Welcoming" (and at times even less than "Safe") for God believing people in general and Christians in particular. These UU injustices and abuses make a complete mockery of the claimed principles and purposes of UUism, and other UU ideals and must be responsibly redressed by all UUs, including current UUA and CUC leadership.

My clergy misconduct complaints did not involve sexual misconduct however I am also concerned about the UUA's and MFC's past failure to responsibly redress complaints arising from sexual misconduct by UU ministers. The UUA's "official apology" to victims of clergy sexual misconduct admits that the UUA has "largely failed" the victims of clergy sexual misconduct. In May 2000 I protested the failure of both the UUA and its Ministerial Fellowship Committee to responsibly address clergy misconduct, sexual or otherwise, in front of the UUA's offices at 25 Beacon Street. I also protested at UUA and CUC AGMs. I am protesting on behalf of all the victims of abusive clergy misconduct committed by UU ministers and all other people who have suffered either insult or injury (or b! oth) as a result of antireligious intolerance as well as other injustices and abuses committed by hypocritical UUs who willfully disregard and violate claimed UU principles and purposes. I have been protesting in front of the Unitarian Church of Montreal on most Sundays since May 1998 because these remarkably hypocritical UUs have r! ejected or willfully ignored all of my letters of grievance and my subsequent public protests. Montreal UUs have repeatedly unjustly punished me for refusing to “accept" their unjust, inequitable and uncompassionate rejection of my grievances arising from their well documented injustices and abuses. I have been repeatedly verbally attacked by Montreal UUs and I have been threatened and physically assaulted on occasion as well. Montreal Unitarians attempted to criminalize my public protest and have repeatedly called the police even though my protest is legal. In doing so Montreal UUs have made a total mockery of their purported principles and purposes, and other claimed ideals.

During a private meeting with him, the purpose of which was to try to expla! in a profound revelatory experience that I had undergone in early 1992, former UCM minister Rev. Ray Drennan sarcastically mocked and ridiculed my religious beliefs by labeling them as "silliness and fantasy" amongst other derisive and insulting comments. Rev. Ray Drennan contemptuous dismissed my revelatory experience as "your psychotic experience" and angrily insisted that I was in immediate need of "professional help." As if these words were n! ot insulting and damaging enough Rev. Drennan went on to label 'Creation Day' (an inter-religious celebration of Creation that was inspired by my revelatory experience) as "your cult." When I immediately challenged him to qualify what he meant by this damaging slur (which is the 21st century equivalent of labeling someone as a "witch" or "heretic") he replied, "I mean a manipulative and secretive religious group." Ironically, less than a month earlier, Rev. Ray Drennan and the Board of the Unitarian Church of Montreal had banned ‘Creation Day' from being celebrated in the "sanctuary" of the UCM during an "in camera" segment of the October Board meeting that was totally secretive cynical manipulation of the democratic process; even though ‘Creation Day' had been unanimously approved as an adult RE activity by the UCM's Religious Education committee. Rev. Drennan nev! er retracted these demeaning and damaging allegations about me, nor did he ever issue an acceptable apology that clearly and unequivocally acknowledged the wrongfulness of his words and actions. Rev. Ray Drennan was never held accountable by the Unitarian Church of Montreal or the UUA's Ministerial Fellowship Committee. I on the other hand have been repeatedly punished and attacked by UUs for refusing to “accept” these UU injustices and abuses. The Ministerial Fellowship Committee complicitly "whitewashed" Rev. Ray Drennan by asserting that his demeaning and abusive misconduct, as I described it in more detailed letters of grievance, "seemed to us to be within the appropriate guidelines of ministerial leadership." When I wrote a letter protesting this ludicrous decision, Rev. Diane Miller responded by vaunting the "wisdom" of the MFC's decision to "close the file."

My grievances arising from the abusive clergy misc! onduct of Rev. Ray Drennan, and the subsequent negligent and unjustly punitive responses of the Unitarian Church of Montreal must finally be responded to by Unitarian Universalists in a manner that clearly lives up to both the letter and the spirit of UUism's Seven Principles, other UU ideals, and policies such as the Safe Congregations program. I also expect the UUA, the CUC, and the Unitarian Church of Montreal to ! hold all those who are most directly responsible for the negligent, incompetent, and complicit response to my serious grievances fully accountable for their reprehensible actions and indeed their clearly negligent inaction. Rev. Diane Miller and other members of the MFC's Executive who unjustly, inequitably, and uncompassionately rejected my serious grievances, who complicitly "whitewashed" Rev. Ray Drennan’s clergy misconduct, and who have "largely failed" the various victims of sexual misconduct and abuse by UU ministers must face accountability for their own deplorable failures. Justice must finally be done for me and for others and I expect it to be seen to be done by the Unitarian Universalist community as a whole.

Sincerely,

Robin Edgar email – robinedgar59@yahoo.ca
