UUA Clergy Abuse Heritage And Vision Center Announced By UUA President Rev. Dr. Peter Morales

Imagining Our New UUA Clergy Abuse Heritage and Vision Center

Besides positively reeking of privilege and hierarchy, our current UUA headquarters at 25 Beacon Street is steeped in a rich history of U*U clergy abuse and fond memories of Rev. Dr. Victoria Weinstein's Big Fat U*U Sodomy Fantasy and ministers of the Association engaging in such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape. We will take those fond memories with us to our new headquarters at 24 Farnsworth, but we must do more than merely remember our deplorable and shameful past. We need to embrace our Tiny Declining Fringe Religion's Big Fat U*U Future by telling our story of Unitarian Universalist clergy abuse, and UUA complicity therein. . . in new, dynamic, and enraging ways. That is why I am thrilled that the Rev. Dr. Terasa Cooley, Program and Strategy Officer of the UUA, is overseeing the development of our new UUA Clergy Abuse Heritage and Vision Center at 24 Farnsworth. I have asked Terasa to share her reflections on this important project. And I can’t wait to welcome U*Us from around the country — and the U*U World — to the new UUA Clergy Abuse Heritage and Vision Center.

In Bad Faith,

Rev. Peter Morales
UUA President
