Pope Benedict XVI Has Urged Irish Bishops To "Restore The Credibility" Of The Roman Catholic Church Rocked By Clergy Sexual Misconduct

But don't take my word for it U*Us.

Take the word of this breaking news report about Pope Benedict XVI calling for the restoration of *credibility* in the Roman Catholic Church's response to clergy sexual misconduct. According to a Vatican statement quoted in this AFP news report Pope Benedict XVI asserted that Roman Catholic bishops must give priority to "restoring the Church's spiritual and moral credibility" and went on to criticize "the failure of the Irish Church authorities for years to act effectively over cases of sexual abuse against young people."

I look forward to UUA President Peter Morales making a similar demand for restoring the UUA's "spiritual and moral credibility" and daring to publicly criticize the shameful and ongoing failure of Unitarian*Universalist "Church authorities" aka UUA administrators to act effectively and respond to ALL kinds of cases of UU clergy misconduct in a manner that actually honors and upholds UU principles and ideals, for decades now. . .

That being said I have yet to receive so much as an acknowledgement of receipt for the "electronic communication" that I sent to President Morales on Groundhog Day calling upon him to stand on the side of love for ALL victims of U*U clergy misconduct, be it clergy sexual misconduct or non-sexual forms of clergy misconduct, have the UUA issue an official apology to victims of non-sexual forms of clergy misconduct, and ensure that the UUA finally gets around to providing some real and tangible restorative justice for ALL victims of U*U clergy misconduct. President Peter Morales didn't make the slightest mention of U*U clergy misconduct in his St. Valentine's Day message inspite of my suggestion that he stand on the side of love for ALL victims of UU clergy misconduct during the first observance of National Standing On The Side Of Love Day.

God knows that the UUA lacks credibility in its well-documented negligent and complicit responses to my own and other people's complaints about clergy misconduct of various kinds. . .
