Marvin Haave And Comox Valley Unitarians Get "Less Than Lucky" On Friday The Thirteenth aka Friday The 13th Of March, 2009

Gotta love GOogle News Alerts! No U*Us?

Marvin Haave, who is a former Lutheran pastor according to a canada.com news article entitled 'The world needs more Unitarians?', originally published in the Comox Valley Echo echo echo echo eco eco eck oh oh. . . that came to the attention of The Emerson Avenger minutes ago thanks to yet another Unitarian*Universalist GOogle News Alert, will address aka lecture the regular service aka Sunday service of the Comox Valley Unitarian Fellowship on the questionable subject of 'The World Needs More Unitarians?' on Sunday March 15th aka The Ides Of March. . . at 4 pm aka traditional English tea time, albeit not according to TEA time which will actually be around 7 pm at *that* time in British Columbia aka BC.

LU*Utheran Marvin Haave
will less than surprisingly, aka all too predictably, maintain that the real world, to say nothing of the U*U World. . . needs more Unitarians aka Unitarian*Universalists aka U*Us because in a time of warfare, strife, environmental degradation and financial meltdown we need people who are committed to living principled lives and being active in improving this world of ours. Unitarians are committed to this life, to the well-being of all peoples and, in fact to all animate and inanimate beings. Given that Unitarians welcome people of all faiths or non-faiths and encourage people to 'walk their talk' in terms of social justice and civic duty, Marvin feels that the world needs to attract more people to the Unitarian movement who are also working for some fundamental changes.

Marvin is a former Lutheran pastor who was drawn to the non-denominational and 'activist' nature of the Unitarians.
