A U*U Blog Devoted To CRAP on Sundays. . .

I just came across this U*U blog titled CRAP on Sundays. Apparently CRAP is an acronym for Church Regular Against Politics (on Sundays). Needless to say, within the context of the so-called U*U World CRAP could just as easily serve as an acronym for Callously Rude Atheist Pastors or Completely Revolting Atheist Propaganda. . .

I would have to say that that CRAP acronym goes very nicely with Mary Bennett's not so brand spanking new U*U "corporate identity" for the U*U religious community.

Feel free to provide other suggestions for what the CRAP acronym might stand for in the U*U World. I am quite sure that I can think of a few more things.

Clergy Raping Asian People comes to mind. . .

I didn't think I had much of an audience, EA. Thanks for reading my blurbs and responding. I think that Internet thing is going to catch on. . . . ;-)

Sounds like you had a rough experience with the UUs. What does it mean that you were excommunicated?

It may be that you do not have much of an audience Will but you do have me. . . I expect that your audience may increase a tiny bit now that I have posted this commmentary and provided a link back to your CRAP blog. ;-)

:Thanks for reading my blurbs and responding.

You're welcome Will. I expect that I will be back in the future.

Looks that way.

:Sounds like you had a rough experience with the UUs.

Indeed I did, and it is pretty much ongoing. . . I just got back from the Montreal court house after pleading not guilty to a fine for "dirtying the sidewalk" and I will be in court again tomorrow morning to plead not guilty to extremely dubious criminal charges that Montreal U*Us have brought against me, quite possibly at the behest of the UUA.

:What does it mean that you were excommunicated?

It means that I was permanently expelled from the Unitarian Church of Montreal on November 22nd, 1999 for allegedly tarnishing the image of this allegfed Unitarian Church via my ongoing public protests against U*U injustices, abuses and hypocrisy.

So you are now without membership in a congregation?

UUA does seem to have little interest in or capacity to police its own. Thus the sad perception by non-UUs that it is an empty, relativistic denomination where anything goes.

Correct.

:UUA does seem to have little interest in or capacity to police its own.

I think that the UUA and individual U*U "churches" do have, or should have, the capacity to police their own. What they definitely do glaringly lack however is the willingness and indeed interest to police their own. This is abundantly illustrated in my correspondence with both the Unitarian Church of Montreal and the UUA, to say nothing of the CUC.

:Thus the sad perception by non-UUs that it is an empty, relativistic denomination where anything goes.

Unfortunately that "perception" is founded on no shortage of well documented fact. The words anmd actions of U*Us repeatedly demonstrate just how empty U*U "covenants" are. U*U moral relativism is well documented and this comparatively recent email string* between yours truly and the UUA's Director of Congregational Services Rev. Dr. Tracey Robinson-Harris makes it glaringly obvious that pretty much anything goes in the U*U eh. . . ;-)

*I recommend reading it from the bottom up. . .
